Please make sure you read and understand my Terms & Conditions before you purchase any jewellery from Deon Smith Jewellery

SHIPPING & DELIVERIES

Deon Smith Jewellery only ships from Monday-Friday during office hours, not including public holidays.

The shipping/courier company provides insurance for the loss or damage to your piece of jewellery. The cost of this insurance will be included in the shipping/courier costs that I will quote you when you place your order.

I will do my best to ensure that you receive your jewellery in the correct time frame, however any commitments made with regards to the delivery times and dates are subject to delays or unforeseen circumstances by the delivery company/postal services. In accepting our Terms & Conditions the purchaser understands that there is a risk of late arrival.

I am not responsible for any incorrect addresses that are given to me.

Local deliveries

Door-to-door courier service (takes 2-4 working days) – I require a physical address where there will be someone to sign and receive your delivery within working hours.

International shipping

I am using DHL Couriers for international shipping and this may take 3-5 working days.

I require a physical address where there will be someone to sign and receive your delivery within working hours. Please note that customs policies vary in different countries and states. You may be liable for customs and import duties, quotas, permits, product restrictions and/or other local requirements. I do not accept responsibility for and will not be held liable for any extra charges.

CANCELLATION OF ORDERS

Once your order has been placed and processed it cannot be cancelled by the purchaser.

After receipt of your order, I reserve the right to cancel your order at any time for any reason, whether your payment has been processed or not. If I have received your payment I will refund you.

I reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders that have been listed at the incorrect price and will refund you if your bank card has been charged.

PAYMENTS

I accept EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer).

RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

I aim for my customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchases from Deon Smith Jewellery. If you are unhappy with your jewellery, you may return it within 10 days of shipping for a credit on the purchase price (this is the product price you paid excluding postage). The shipping/courier charges will not be refunded. Exchanges are not possible as the pieces of jewellery are customised.

Returns

I will only accept returned products that adhere to the following criteria:

  • The items must be unused, unworn, undamaged and in their original packaging.
  • I will not accept any returns after the 10 day period from date of shipping
  • Any postage or courier fees involved in the process of your return will be at the purchaser’s own expense.

I will not accept responsibility for broken chains – they are a delicate part of any jewellery piece and must be handled with care by the wearer.

I suggest using a reputable courier /shipping service (with insurance cover) when returning items as I am not liable for any items that are damaged or lost in the post.
