Evolution of the collections
It all started with the Botanical Collection, and I thought I’d be expanding on this theme forever as there is so much Fynbos to celebrate, but with time new ideas were explored and, often unintentionally, a small new collection of pieces materialised.
I’m not influenced by fashion trends as they change far too frequently in my opinion, so I’ve wanted my designs to have a timeless quality and an adaptability to suit the wearer’s personal style.
I want my jewellery to go beyond mere adornment. I want the wearer to feel an affinity to the concept, the materials or my design philosophy and that this will facilitate a conversation with the observer, not only to raise awareness but perhaps just to simply initiate contact in a world of increasing social isolation.
